The deck

Grip where it counts

Most inflatable docks turn into slick PVC the moment they get wet. Tidle runs two non-slip strips the full length of the deck, right where your feet land when you step off the bow.

Underneath, it's 20cm of drop stitch: thousands of threads holding the top and bottom flat, so the deck stays firm under a grown man, two kids and the gear.

For the kids

Their favourite spot on the lake

A dock changes the day. The kids have somewhere to jump from, somewhere to dry off, and somewhere you can actually keep an eye on them. You get a clean spot to load the boat without wading through the mud.

Questions

Before you buy

What's the difference between Grain and Core?

Grain is the premium edition: a wood-look deck with twin non-slip strips and tan corner panels. Core is the simpler edition: a grey drop-stitch top with black side tubes. Both are 20cm thick and carry the same three-year warranty.

Which size do I need?

The Launch 3 suits one boat at the bank or ramp. The Launch 4 gives you room to load up and sit. The Harbour Y 8.5 berths a boat or jet ski on each side of the Y, so it's the one for a full setup.

Where do I buy one?

Tidle docks are sold through True Gear at truegear.com.au.

Who's behind Tidle?

Tidle is an Australian brand run by Tim Jagger, who also runs True Gear. The docks are made by a specialist inflatable factory that builds for leading dock brands overseas.
